This film centers around Reese Scott, a career-changer who fell in love with boxing and went on to open the first women's boxing gym in New York City. Reese is an incredible presence — humbly imperfect, forever evolving into a clearer version of herself, and deeply committed to giving women a safe space to learn and grow.

I watched her run classes on four hours of sleep, keeping spirits high with Parkinson's patients, high schoolers, and her regular women's group. She opened up about her journey from hopeful student to trusted teacher with a quiet honesty that moved our entire crew to tears on set. I'm grateful to Reese, and to a team who braved an apocalyptic rainstorm to help tell her story. She represents boxing the way I've always loved it — honor, discipline, and dignity, sharpened through sacrifice.
